The Age Quiz: Are You Old Enough for Leisure Suit Larry?

Before Larry gets anywhere near Lost Wages, the original 1987 game makes you prove you're an adult with a quiz about American pop culture. It was meant to keep kids out, and in 1987 it mostly did. Today it mostly keeps out anyone born after 1970. Think you'd pass?

AGI vs VGA vs Reloaded: Every Version of Larry 1

There are three official versions of Larry's first night in Lost Wages: the 1987 original, the 1991 VGA remake and Reloaded from 2013. Same story, same puzzles, very different games to play. Here's how they compare.

All Deaths in Leisure Suit Larry 1 (1987)

Like every Sierra game of the era, Leisure Suit Larry kills you often and without warning, usually with a joke. Here is every death and game-ending mistake in the original 1987 version, where to find it and how to avoid it.

Every screenshot below comes from my own playthrough. Save before you try any of these.

Most deaths end the same way: the Sierra adventure team drags Larry to an underground workshop and drops him into the "bit bucket" to be recycled into future games.

Easter Eggs and Secrets in Leisure Suit Larry 1

Al Lowe filled Lost Wages with jokes that most players never find. Here are the best secrets, in-jokes and hidden responses in the original 1987 version, all found during my own playthrough.
